August 2	HOPS Mid-Summers Weiss Wet Dream Pool Party Third Annual Midsummer's Wet Weiss Dream Party at Steve George's at 400 W. Butler Ave. in Chalfont, just north of County Line road on route 202, across from Spatola's Pizza. We'll be judging for the AHA Club-only "Extract-only" competition. So bring what you've got. They'll also be a keg of dry-hopped Krook's Mill California-style Pale Ale on hand courtesy of the Manayunk Brewing Company, and munchies as usual - but don't forget to bring a donation. Bring your swimsuit if you'd like. The festivities start at 2pm. Check out the MAP or call Steve at 215/ 822-2187.
August 8-10	2nd Annual Toronto Festival of Beer At Historic Fort York, downtown waterfront. Featuring breweries from around North America, primarily Ontario. $20 includes a commemorative sampling mug, 10 tickets good for food & beer, entertainment, beer workshops and seminars.
