Wow, have we been doing it for that many years? Yup, once again we hold our annual Best Of Philly and Suburbs homebrew competition. The Academic Bistro at the Hospitality and Management Department of Drexel University is our host.

Peter Hecht is hosting a late afternoon (3ish) and evening party. The idea is first you shop the Italian Market for tasty comestibles and then stroll on over to Peter's to share with homebrew and our fabulous company!

Mark your calendars for this! Although it's not cheap (probably $60 prix fix), this is the best Japanese food on the East Coast. Chef Matt Ito has wowed us in the past. We can only set this up every couple of years so don't miss it! We are making effort to work in sake appreciation along with the meal.

From Philadelphia Take Ben Franklin Bridge and follow signs for route 70 east. Go through Cherry Hill, Marlton, Medford, etc until you get to 70 and 206 Circle. Take traffic circle to contiue on 70 east. Go one mile to first light and Turn right on New Road. Go one mile to Y intersection and take left Fork onto Patty Bowker Road. Go about 1 mile down Patty Bowker, you will see a ball field and park on the left. On the right you will see a School Bus stop ahead sign, not too far past the sign is our driveway. It is 131 Patty Bowker. Our house is the Green house with Brown Trim. The first part of the drive is shared with the neighbors.
From Bucks and Montgomery County

Follow PA turpike east over bridge and take first exit for Route 130. Take 130 north a few hundred yards to first light and turn right. Go 4 miles to just before Downtown Columbus. You will see signs for 206 south. You will need to make a left turn on Railroad ave and follow the road curving to the right to merge onto 206. IF you get to the columbis inn light, you miss the turn for 206.

Follow 206 south to route 70 circle and then follow directions from Philly above.

IF there is not enough parking in the driveway, use the parking lot across the street for the ball field.
